Tuition & Accessibility

We believe access to a meaningful, child-centered education matters.

Wild Roots Montessori School is committed to making our programs accessible to families with a wide range of financial circumstances. We offer a sliding scale tuition model, along with scholarship opportunities, and state-funding options, in an effort to make cost less of a barrier for our families.

Individual and Eligibility-Based

Each family’s tuition is determined individually based on income eligibility guidelines.

We are always happy to have a conversation about tuition, affordability, and funding options!

How Sliding Scale Tuition Works

Our tuition is aligned with Indiana Income Eligibility guidelines (FRL).

This means:

  • Families contribute at a level that reflects their financial capacity
  • Tuition is adjusted to create broader access to the program
  • The same high-quality Montessori experience is offered to all students, regardless of tuition level

We approach this process with care, transparency, and respect for each family’s circumstances.

Payment Options

We offer flexible ways to pay tuition:

  • Pay in full up-front
  • 10-month payment plan (August-May)

A Note on Accessibility

We know that cost is an important part of making decisions as a family.

At Wild Roots, our goal is to balance sustainability with accessibility—so that more children can experience a learning environment where they are deeply seen, respected, and supported.

Many of our families do not pay full tuition.

Every family’s situation is different, and we’re here to help you explore what this could look like for yours. We encourage families to reach out even if they are unsure about affordability.
